강좌를 듣다보니, 강의 끝부분에 강사가 이렇게 말합니다.   Give it a shot!

의미는 

:  '시도해 보다' ( make an attempt / try it, see if it’s good) 입니다

예)  I’m not sure if I’ll like Chinese food, but I’ll give it a shot.

예) You won’t know if you like scuba diving until you try. Why don’t you give it a shot?

예) I know the exam is really hard, but if I don't try, I'll never know if I have what it takes to pass it, so I've decided to give it a shot.

Nolan is a delusion (미드 Defiance에서 주인공인 놀란이 자꾸 자신의 환영을 봅니다. 그래서 다른 사람이 이렇게 말하죠. 그는 환영을 봐!)
